Joining Dunnottar Pipes and Drums

 

Dunnottar Pipes and Drums are always interested in taking on new playing members, both learners
and experienced players. All are welcome, regardless of ability.

For novices of all ages – children (8yrs+), young adults and adults alike, we can provide you with the
full tuition necessary to learn to play the bagpipes and drums in a safe, friendly, and relaxed
atmosphere.

Dunnottar Pipes and Drums currently practices each Tuesday evening, from 7pm to 9:30pm in
Portlethen Academy, Bruntland Road, Portlethen, AB12 4QL.

If you don’t wish to play the bagpipes or the drums but still feel you want to contribute toward the
success of Dunnottar Pipes and Drums, we would be more than happy to have you as an active member of our non-playing support team. The support team are responsible for varied tasks such as
fundraising, promoting the band, and helping when the band is out and about at events.

We also warmly welcome any visiting pipers who happen to be in the area. Please confirm a
practice date if you would like to attend.
